Terms
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms cover two things: using this website, and using the Tillbird service if you're a store owner working with me. If you're a customer chatting with a Tillbird widget on a store's site, the relevant document is the privacy policy — you don't need to agree to anything here to use it.
Who this is
Tillbird is operated by Lev Manzhai, a sole trader based in the UK. Contact: [email protected].
The service
Tillbird is a chat widget I configure and add to a client's Shopify store, set up to answer common customer questions (order status, delivery, returns, product questions) using that store's own information. I set it up personally, test it before it goes live, and remain available for changes and support directly.
Pricing
I'm currently running a founding client pilot: pricing is agreed individually on a call rather than fixed on this site, and confirmed in writing (email is fine) before any work begins. Founding clients keep their agreed rate for as long as they stay, even if standard pricing changes later.
What I ask of you, as a client
- That the shipping, returns and product information you give me is accurate — the assistant is only as correct as what it's told.
- That you have the right to let me use your store's product and policy content to configure the assistant.
- That you review what the assistant has been set up to say before it goes live (I'll show you), since it's your customers it's talking to.
What you can expect from the assistant
It's built to stick to your real policies and product information rather than invent answers, and to hand off to you honestly when it isn't sure. That said, it's an AI system responding in real time — like any support tool (human or automated), it can occasionally get something wrong or phrase something awkwardly. It's a tool to reduce your support load, not a guarantee that every reply will be perfect, and you can turn it off at any time if it's not working for you.
Cancelling
You can stop using the service whenever you like — removing the widget's script tag from your store takes a minute, and there's no minimum term or lock-in contract as a founding client.
Liability
I'll do my best to keep the service running and accurate, but as a sole trader I can't take on unlimited liability for indirect losses (like lost sales) arising from the assistant's use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes
If these terms change, I'll update the date at the top of this page. For existing clients, I'll let you know directly if anything material changes.
